Welsh make two changes to thier sqaud for final match aginst Ireland

Welsh coach John Kear has made two changes to his 21-man squad ahead of their final World cup game against Ireland in Perth on Sunday. Along with all the 17 that played in the weekends record defeat at the hands of Fiji, Rochdale Hornets forward Gavin Bennion and half back Matty Seamark have been added to the squad. Bennion who has yet to make his debut, only meet up with the squad late last week when they were based in Townsville, while Seamark has recovered from the injury sustained in their opening 50-6 defeat at the hands of PNG that saw him miss the Fiji match in his home town.

Although a Welsh victory would not be enough to see them through, it would end an unwanted record of wales failing to win a World Cup game since 2000.
But, with Ireland having defeated Italy 36-12 in their 1st game and a narrow 14-6 defeat at the hands PNG in their 2nd they will be looking to defeat the welsh and hope for a very unlikely USA win over PNG in Port Moresby to progress to the knock out stages.

Wales squad: Danny Ansell, Matty Barron, Gavin Bennion, Joe Burke, Michael Channing, Courtney Davies, Ben Evans, Matty Fozard, Andy Gay, Regan Grace, Dalton Grant, Phil Joseph, Elliot Kear, Morgan Knowles, Craig Kopczak, Rhodri Lloyd, Ben Morris, Steve Parry, Christiaan Roets, Matty Seamark, Rhys Williams.
