With Neymar’s career seemingly as good as finished at Paris St Germain, after fans voiced their frustration over the current situation after he was left out of the squad for the season opener against Nimes, whilst fans held banners telling the Brazilian star to “go away”.
With three weeks untill the European transfer window shuts on September 2nd, Real Madrid have already made contact with the French Champions about a possible deal. Although Real head coach Zinedine Zidane wasn’t giving anything away when questioned about the move only that;
“Neymar is not [in our squad] but until September 2, anything can happen.”
While sky sources have also indicated that officials from his former club Barcelona have travelled to the French Capital to discuss his return to the Nou Camp.
The former Brazilian skipper as been wanting a return to Spain all summer after speaking to PSG officials back in July about wanting to leave, Although all attempts have been made to convince him to stay, the fact he was left out of last weekends squad indicates a move may happened sooner than later.
The only stumbling block in any move is expected to be PSG wanting to recoup as much of the £200m they spent for him when he joined from Barcelona two years ago.
He has also enjoyed some success while at PSG, picking up back to back Ligue 1 titles scoring 51 goals in his 56 appearances since joining.
