Liverpool reject second bid for Coutinho

With Neymar Jnr now wearing the colours of Paris St Germain at a cost of £200m, Barcelona now have money to burn and are scouring the world for a replacement!

Top of that list seems to be Liverpool’s 25-year-old Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho. Since joining from Inter Milan in 2013 for a fee off £8.5m, Coutinho has become a fans favorite at the club and his 14 goals last season was one of the reasons he was offered and signed a new Five-year deal with the club last January, which unlike the majority of contracts on the continent does not include a release clause.

it has been reported that the Merseyside club have now rejected two bids from the Catalonian team for their star player, the 1st offer of £72m being rejected a week ago, but despite Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp going on record as stating that Liverpool are not “A selling club” they received a second increased offer believed to be in the region of £76.8m with and additional £13.5m worth of add odds being the totally close to £90m which was again immediately rejected with a statement reiterating that Coutinho is not for sale.
