Leeds Rhino's forward Joins Wakefield on a two year deal

Leeds Reserve forward Jordan Baldwinson will be looking to revive his Super League career with a move to Wakefield Trinity on a two year deal from 2018.

The 22-year-old has found 1st team action hard to come by this season, with only 12 first team appearances he has spent the majority of this season on dual registration with Featherstone Rovers in the Championship. Baldwinson came through the clubs academy system and returned to the Rhino’s last season after an unsuccessful spell at New Zealand Warriors in the NRL.

Wakefield’s current first team coaching staff have done wonders this season, helping to guide the Yorkshire team into the top four spot in the league with 5 games reminding. With Welsh International coach John Kear as Head of Rugby and Head Coach Chris Chester in his first full year at the club, they both have a habit of plucking young players that may not be hitting their potential at other clubs and developing them into Super League regulars.
