Arsenal have announced their have extended the contracts of Players, Striker Olivier Giroud, Defender Laurent Koscielny and Mid fielder Francis Coquelin. All three French men have become first team regulars since joining the Gunners and although the length of contract hasn’t been disclosed, they are all believed to be long term. For Olivier Gould, the extension comes of the back of some excellent performances over the past few weeks which as seen the striker score 4 goals in 4 games including the ‘Scorpion’ wonder goal against Crystal place.
According to sky sports sources West Ham have reported to have increased their bid for Bottom of the table Hull City’s player Robert Snodgrass. Hull had originally rejected a £3 million offer for the Scottish International who has been back to his best scoring 7 goals already this season. However, with the player refusing to sign an extension and his contact up in the summer, New Hull manager Marco Silva may see now as the time to cash in on the former Norwich and Leeds midfielder.
Staying with West Ham, manager Slaven Bilic as spoken to the press regarding the current situation with star striker Dimitri Payet. One of last year ‘s PFA Players, player nominee’s, Payet as failed to hit the same levels this year, having only found the net five times this season and as Bilic suggested he no longer wants to play for the club. Having signed a new long term contract less than a year ago, the West ham manager is adamant that although this is a bad situation for the club, they will not give in to the player and admits he is NOT for sale. Should West Ham decided to change their minds, Payet’s old club Marseille, who he left to join West Ham in 2015 are keen to resign him.
