F.A cup West Ham vs Chelsea review

This weekend sees the start of the FA CUP third round and all teams Premier League teams are in action, with West Ham entertaining league leaders Chelsea tonight (Friday) in the first of the 32 third round ties.

After successfully appealing against his red card against Man United, West ham have Sofiane Feghouli available and may welcome back Defender Sam Byram and midfielder Mark Noble. However, they are without Chikhou Kouyate and Andre Ayew as both are on African Nations Cup duty. In addition, West hams injury list as grown and includes Daifra Sakho, Alvaro Arbeloa, James Collins, Gokhan Tore and Arthur Masuako.

In what will be Pep Guardiola’s first taste of the F.A. Cup, Manchester City are unlikely to make wholesale change due to them playing premier league opposition, but with also with skipper Vincent Kompany back in training, but not quite ready to return and with Llkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane both injured and Fernando is rated as doubtful. Another player who will defiantly miss out is Midfielder Fernandinho who failed in his appeal against his sending off at Burnley, which as know been increased to four match as this was his second red in a number of weeks.

Currently West Ham have only won two of their last meetings with Man City having won 10 and drawn three, however the last two meetings at the London Stadium west ham have won one and drawn the other.
