With Manchester City still challenging for four trophies this season, boss Pep Guardiola has hinted he could name a near full strength side against Championship side Bristol City in tonight’s Carabro Cup semi-final 1st Leg at the Etihad Stadium.

Bristol striker Korey Smith, who scored the late winner against United, is hopeful of shaking off the knock that saw him leave the field at half time at the weekend, while Skipper Bailey wright, Nathan Baker, Joe Bryan and Bobby Reid are all looking at a recall after being rested at the weekend. Their could also be a possible debut for midfielder Liam Walsh, who has completed his move from premier league side Everton over the weekend.
